Felicity Corbin-Wheeler’s experience with cancer began when her daughter Melanie was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma stage 4B in 1987. Melanie had just started school at London University at the time of the diagnosis and then died 16 months later despite all that orthodox medicine had to offer, which included chemotherapy, radiation, and having a bone marrow transplant.
Felicity says that the loss of her daughter convinced her that there had to be a better way to treat cancer and this led her to study nutrition. She enrolled in two college courses where she learned that the simple nutrition of fruits, vegetables, and seeds as stated in Genesis 1:29 is the diet that we all should be eating. The Lord God says, “ I give you every seed bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it, they will be yours for food.” This research eventually led her begin eating a vegetarian diet and she says that she also gave up drinking alcohol.

Felicity she was feeling good up until September 7th 2003, at which time she began experiencing a horrible pain in her solar plexus area which she describes as “a killer blow.” The next day she appeared jaundiced and was in terrific pain from one side of her body to the other that seemed to be centered in the midriff area. She went to her doctor who examined her and stated, ‘I think we have a major problem here.’ The following day she was given scans which revealed a very large tumor at the head of her pancreas. She was sent to King Edward VII Hospital in London for more tests, and at the end of all the examinations doctors told her that there was absolutely no hope and she had between five weeks to six months at the most.
Felicity was in gut-wrenching pain which was being partially controlled by morphine. She was also suffering from nausea and jaundice and had lost a quarter of her body weight in just two weeks. Doctors inserted a stent to relieve the jaundice and this allowed her liver to begin functioning again, but she reports that she was so ill by then that she could only keep down water and a little freshly made juice.
Felicity said that the first thing she did was to say the Gethsemane prayer in which Jesus says “Your will be done.” She says, “Whether I was going to live or die, I knew that it was in God’s hands.” In Malachi 4:2 it says “For those that revere My name, the Son of Righteousness will appear with healing in His wings.” Felicity says that her spiritual practice put her spirit at rest. She says that people couldn’t understand how she was able to remain so calm and positive, but it was because she felt that God had His hand on this problem so she could completely surrendered herself.
A fellow pastor at her church recommended that she explore laetrile (aka B17) and gave Felicity a website so she could read more about the compound. Felicity read 2 books about B17 titled, World Without Cancer: The Story of Vitamin B17, by G. Edward Griffin, and Cancer Why We’re Still Dying To Know The Truth, by Phillip Day.
Felicity was able to obtain ampules of laetrile from a hospital in Mexico but she would need to locate a knowledgeable doctor in her area who was wiling to administer the compound. Her own doctor was not familiar with laetrile but he did pull out his medical journal to show her that it stated that it contained a powerful cyanide which was poisonous. Felicity had already read all about the compound and knew that the cyanide would only be released upon contact with cancerous cells and were completely harmless to ordinary cells, but her doctor was adamant and afraid of litigation. She met with a second doctor and was told that B17 would not work for her cancer. Then a friend introduced her to a young doctor who worked for Hospice. This woman understood how laetrile worked and agreed to give it to her intravenously every other day for a total of 13 injections.
