Glen Moore

  • The Diagnosis

Glen Moore, a healthy living being, who would come out to everyone’s help had to face something dreadful. During his annual checkup, he spotted blood releasing from the stool he got checked and was diagnosed for Stage 3C colon cancer. After a colonoscopy test, he was advised to undergo a surgery. He preferred taking a second opinion from his oncologist, who confirmed that it was Stage 3C colon cancer. Rather than cribbing over whys, Glenn & his family focused over what next.

  • The Decision

Moore’s rooted for a better alternative. In their search for other options, they were fortunate enough to receive consultation from Dr. Hugh Jenkins. He was a naturopathic physician who had successfully treated Glenn’s mother- Rose Sweeney’s kidney ailment. Glenn was curious to know about what caused him cancer. Dr. Jenkins reflected upon his thought that 85% of cancer comes from the American diet. It severely affects the human digestive system. They together incorporated a diet plan & began working on the same.

  • Diet Regime

The plan was 28 days of fast and a six days coming off period with only juices and raw vegetables. In the opinion of Dr. Jenkins, surgery was not disregarded but instead was the last option that Glenn could have looked for. He believed that natural therapy took longer time than drugs & surgery because he rooted to the cause of the problem.  Natural therapy took at least 4 months for results & a year for any chronic disease to cure down to its cell levels.

After 3 months, the tumor had begun to shrink. The oncologist would keep advising Glenn about the necessity of the surgery and Glenn kept researching over it.

  • Back to Surgery

For another opinion, Glenn visited the Cancer Centre of America. And Glenn decided to opt for a surgery instead of attempting to cleanse the tissues to reduce the tumor completely. But in any such surgery, the most expected side effect is an infection. Dr. Jenkins helped Glenn in cleansing his system while preparing for a surgery.

The surgery was just one step towards his treatment. Glenn felt unwell and realized that his body was not functioning optimally after the surgery. His friends & family remember that he was not Glenn anymore. But it didn’t evade him.

  • The Fight

Glenn always had faith in an integrated treatment protocol. But his illness pulled him harder towards the desire of working on a holistic healing approach. Post surgery, doctors told him that out of the 11 lymph nodes in one’s body, 5 of them were infected; which meant that cancer was all in his body. And the only way out was, several treatments of high dosage chemotherapy.

Glenn’s family never visited a doctor for any ailment. They always cured with home remedies. His mom would read a lot of book on such remedies. And that was Glenn’s way out. He read & studied about colon cancer, chemotherapy & all the side effects; and decided to skip on the chemotherapy.

  • The New Protocol

While Glenn continued to follow Dr. Jenkins’ diet plan, the emergency of cure called for him. So, Dr. Jenkins created a corrective maintenance health program for Glenn. Glenn had to get rid of hamburgers, fries and red meat. The American cancer society stated that one should eat 5-9 fruits & vegetables a day to reduce the risk of cancer, as it increases the fiber which helps to absorb the toxins in the system.

They had to include 60-70% of raw diet. And also add on herbs for filtering and detoxifying the liver as the liver holds 80% of our blood and any disease caused is connected to liver.  The 2 major supplements that he prescribed were – pawpaw and E.T.; these herbs are cancer killing and apparently, gave Glenn time to cure.

He ensures to have salad once a day, fishes 3-4 times a week and beans for including protein. He starts his day with a smoothie and drinks a lot of water amidst his 3 hours workout.

  • The After Story

Glenn says that he is healthier, fitter and in a better shape now. The herbs have helped him heal better. He has embarked upon the need of exercise for being fit. His complexion and eye sight have grown better. Now, he can even sleep better. He went through cancer not just for himself, but for all others who constantly stood by him.
